We are pleased to introduce you to QDI’s executive team: Gary Enzor, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board Mr. Enzor was appointed the Chairman of the Board of QDI in August 2013 and has served as a Director since 2008. He has served as QDI’s Chief Executive Officer since June 2007 and as President of QDI since November 2005. Mr. Enzor joined QDI in December 2004 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining QDI, Mr. Enzor served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Swift Transportation Company, Inc. since August 2002. Prior to Swift, Mr. Enzor held executive positions with Honeywell, Dell Computer and AlliedSignal, Inc. (now Honeywell International, Inc.). Mr. Enzor has served on the board of directors of USA Truck, Inc. since September 2014. Joseph Troy, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Troy joined QDI in August 2010 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining QDI, Mr. Troy held various senior leadership positions with Walter Industries, Inc. (predecessor to Walter Energy), including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Troy held various banking positions with NationsBank and its predecessor institutions. Mr. Troy previously served on the board of directors of Cellu Tissue Holdings, Inc., a producer and seller of tissue papers in the United States, previously served on the board of Fisher Communications, Inc., a media company with television, radio, internet and mobile operations, and currently serves on one charitable board. John Wilson, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary Mr. Wilson joined QDI in July 2012 as our Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. From March 2011 until July 2012, Mr. Wilson was in private practice. Prior to that, Mr. Wilson held various positions of increasing responsibility at Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. and its predecessor Spectrum Brands, Inc. from May 2005 until March 2011, including serving as Spectrum Brands’ General Counsel and Secretary from May 2007 until March 2011. Prior to joining Spectrum Brands, Mr. Wilson was an attorney with the firm of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP. Randy Strutz, President, Quality Carriers Mr. Strutz joined QDI in April of 2010 and serves as President, Quality Carriers, the Company’s chemical logistics business. Prior to assuming his current position in April 2012, he served as QDI’s Senior Vice President of Sales and New Business Development. Before joining QDI, Mr. Strutz held the position of Chief Executive Officer with Morgan Systems, Inc., from 2008 to 2010. Prior to Morgan Systems, Mr. Strutz worked at Pacer International from 2001 to 2007, where he held the positions of Chief Commercial Officer as well as the President of Rail Brokerage and Chief Operating Officer. Anthony Morsovillo, President, Boasso America Corporation Mr. Morsovillo was named President of Boasso America effective January 1, 2016. He joined Quality Distribution in 2007 and transferred to the Boasso America division in 2008. Mr. Morsovillo most recently held the role of Corporate Director of Operations with Boasso. Prior to joining Quality Distribution, he held significant operational management roles with CSX Intermodal, Canadian National Railway and Hanjin Shipping. Mr. Morsovillo received his undergraduate from Rockhurst University and MBA from St. Xavier University. Robert Showalter, CFO, Boasso America Corporation Mr. Showalter has served as Chief Financial Officer Boasso America Corporation since 1990. Mr. Showalter previously served as Controller for Continental Container Services, Inc. from Dec 1980 through March of 1990. Additionally Mr. Showalter has held roles with the Internal Revenue Service and Amax Nickel Refinery. Mr. Showalter obtained his B.S. Accounting and Management degree from the University of New Orleans. Christopher Garrand, CFO, Quality Carriers Mr. Garrand joined QDI in 2016 and serves as CFO of Quality Carriers, the Company's chemical logistics business. Before joining Quality, Mr. Garrand had financial responsibility for a $1.8 Billion business unit at ConAgra Foods as the Regional Finance Director. He also has experience in Eastern Europe as Country Manager for the Russian Federation with Novartis Consumer Health, a global healthcare company, before becoming The Associate Director, Finance and Supply Chain for Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Garrand holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and a Master's Degree in Global Business Development. Melissa Ernst, Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Driver Services Ms. Ernst became Sr. Vice President, Human Resources and Driver Services of QDI in April 2014. She assumed responsibility QDI’s Driver Recruiting and Retention organization in April 2013 and became Vice President of Human Resources in 2005. She joined QDI in May 2001. Prior to joining QDI, Ms. Ernst held various human resources roles with IPAXS Corporation, Southern Company Energy Marketing (now Mirant) and Tech Data Corporation. Julie Dunphy, Vice President, Corporate Controller and Treasurer Ms. Dunphy was appointed as our Vice President Corporate Controller and Treasurer in 2017. In addition to these roles, Ms. Dunphy has also served as our Vice President of Corporate Development since 2016 and our Vice President of Tax since she joined the Company in 2008. Prior to joining Quality, Ms. Dunphy worked at Ernst & Young as a Manager in the tax consulting practice assisting global companies with tax structuring, compliance, and financial reporting. She received her undergraduate and masters degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is a CPA. Lorrel Margelowsky, Vice President, Affiliate Financial Analysis Ms. Margelowsky joined QDI in June 2000 and serves as Vice President of Affiliate Financial Analysis after serving as Vice President of Business Analysis and Vice President of Internal Audit. Prior to joining QDI, she served as Regional Director with the National Exchange Carrier Association in Omaha, NE. Ms. Margelowsky also spent 10 years with GTE holding various accounting and auditing positions. Prior to GTE, Ms. Margelowsky served as a CPA with various public accounting firms. Mark Sorine, Vice President, Safety & Security Mr. Sorine joined QDI in October of 2011. Mr. Sorine’s professional experience includes Director of Safety and Security with Greatwide Logistics Services from June 2006 through December 2011 and Senior Manager of Safety, Health & Security with Ryder System, Inc. from July 1993 through June 2006. Mr. Sorine obtained his undergraduate degree and Masters, Safety and Environmental Management at West Virginia University. Shawn Harris, Vice President, Technical Services Mr. Harris joined QDI in December of 2000, and has served as Vice President of Technical Services since April 2013; Prior to that Mr. Harris held various senior level roles within QDI including, Vice President of Operations, Director of Network Optimization, and Director of Customer Administration. Mr. Harris attended the University of Central Florida obtaining his BS in MIS, and Human Resource Management.
