QDI maintains a management system, which determines applicability and addresses the requirements of laws, regulations, and company and other requirements regarding the Environmental Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) of its operations.
QDI's goal of zero EHSS incidents demands that we continue to work with employees, customers, communities, and other key stakeholders to establish and maintain appropriate goals and objectives. Input from these stakeholders will be used to evaluate and continuously improve our Responsible Care® Management System performance.
Everyone at QDI is responsible for upholding the company's high EHSS standards at all times. QDI's senior management will ensure that this policy and relevant legal and Responsible Care® requirements are effectively communicated to employees and other appropriate stakeholders.
We will promote a spirit of openness with our key stakeholders so that hazards and risks associated with our operations are promptly reviewed to address our stakeholder concerns.
In order to assure continued relevance to the scale, nature, and impact of our operations, we will review this policy annually, or whenever a significant change is considered.
